Building Regulation Compliance
Where work is conducted and problems arise due to previously botched or non building regulation compliant work we accept no liability. Further to this, we reserve our right to charge for our time even where this means we are unable to complete the relevant works. Where materials are supplied by the client we accept no liability for failure of those materials.
Carrying out work
Please give a full and detailed as possible description of the work needed and highlight any known problems or ongoing issues. Share photos using Whatsapp. We rely on you to let us know of any issues such as the presence of Asbestos, pesticides, gas supply pipe-work, structural damage or any other safety hazards where work is to be carried out. We also rely on you to let us know where drilling or other work may damage gas/electrical/water/telephone or fiber optic supply lines tanking or any other structural element within the building.
Late Payment
In cases where we are notified of genuine difficulty we will consider deferring payment. Occasionally some clients are slow in sending payments. We all have busy lives and we all need a reminder sometimes. Following expiry of your 14 day settlement period you will receive a payment reminder. Where this is the case we exercise the right to charge for the additional admin generated by pursuing the debt, at least a week later you will receive a second reminder, this time incurring a £30 admin fee and the same for each reminder issued each subsequent week until the debt is settled. Unsettled debts will be passed on to a third party collection agency when there is no response to our reminders.
